Re-Vote Likely After E-Vote Data Mishandling
davecb writes "A California judge is likely to order a Berkeley city initiative back on the ballot because of local officials' mishandling of electronic voting machine data. A recount was not possible because the city failed to share necessary voting records, a violation of election laws. In a preliminary ruling Thursday, Judge Winifred Smith of the Alameda County Superior Court indicated she would nullify the defeat of a medical marijuana proposal in Berkeley in 2004 and order the measure put back on the ballot in a later election."

Rowling could have redeemed herself in my eyes if she had have fucked over the corporations and gone for a bit of "not normal" message giving. Ah well, WB wouldn't have had a film to sell if there had have been anything remotely different about Harry. Even though the entire serious was about how he was different.
I have one final thing to say, Rowling has written good children's books in the past, I wish she would stop writing tripe and get back to writing stuff that is actually good. Actually, a search doesn't appear to turn up any other books! My childhood memory of reading good stuff by her must be mistaken.
Ah well screw it, when the revolution comes, she might be let live, but she will lose her fortune...
