House Passes Patent Overhaul Bill

'The Patent Reform Act, supported by several large tech vendors including Microsoft Corp. and IBM Corp., would allow courts to change they way they assess damages in patent infringement cases. Currently, courts generally consider the value of the entire product when a small piece of the product infringes a patent; the bill would allow, but not require, courts to base damages only on the value of the infringing piece."

Thanks to all the free-market, fiscal conservatives, common sense has fina... what? Oh, that's right, half the conservatives lost (or are about to lose) their jobs, and the other half are getting indicted. Over ten years of conservative government... and all we got was corruption and war. "Fiscal Conservative", indeed.

The Democrats have been in office for less than a year, and they've already accomplished more than ten years of conservatives being in charge.
