Rising to the "Science Visualization Challenge"

ahab_2001 writes "The NSF and the journal Science have announced the 2007 winners of the annual Science and Engineering Visualization Challenge, mounted each year "to encourage cutting-edge efforts to visualize scientific data." Visualize this: God created the earth 6000 years ago.

I can visualize that just fine; Genesis has some great imagery. I can also visualize a cow licking the first man out of a block of salt. Now, do you have some data we can throw into those visualizations? Let us know when you get some.
