The users fingers are shown as shadows on the screen so they can see what they're doing, making the device look transparent. As a video shows, it's far from market ready, but the design principle seems sound."

typical microsoft product development strategy. 1. Look at what software / gadget's hot in the market.
2. Rip the idea and turn it around in any shape or form.
3. Tell the market this is what they need.
