New Free-to-Play, FPS-Centric, MMO Hits Closed Beta
Nexon America, publisher of MapleStory, has announced the closed beta for a new free-to-play, FPS-centric, MMO. The new "Combat Arms" is planned for a full release later this summer and promises not only the ability to customize your soldier, but also your guns and equipment. "The closed beta test will run exclusively at FilePlanet.com for one week beginning May 30th. Once the game is released to the public, Combat Arms will receive regular content updates, including new weapons, gear, maps, and more free game modes."
Frist psto!
After my steam account got banned out of the blue for a 'cheating infraction' I permanently stopped using their service. I have never cheated their games and magically one day I logged in and they said I have been cheating. Emails to customer service were to no avail as they said 'once you were deemed cheating (which I never did) you are permanently banned from the network'. No appeals, no investigation, no nothing. I asked them to provide screen shots, video, basically anything that said i was cheating (thinking maybe someone hacked into my account, but I use strong passwords so it's highly unlikely they did) and they said they didn't have such information.
Basically steam a dictatorship that will shut down your account without any evidence whatsoever.
I for one will be welcoming this new FPS that will not have such crappy policies.
