Brain Interface Lets Monkeys Control Prosthetic Limbs

(Note that this research has been going on for quite some time.)
It'll never work. Everyone knows that God hates amputees.

I clearly explained why, when this procedure moves onto human beings, it will be in the form of EXPERIMENTS - i.e. are you seriously suggesting that the way to find out which parts of a HUMAN brain to put the electrodes in, is to examine a MONKEY brain? I see you couldn't actually address anything I wrote about the PAIN and SUFFERING the monkeys are going through. I know the brain can't feel anything - so what? Your skull sure as hell can.
And the fact that people can have brain surgery while awake means we can EASILY do this in human volunteers (i.e. those whose limbs don't work, and want to undergo this procedure), instead of wasting time torturing monkeys.
And again I ask:
"Why am I incapable of feeling the suffering of others, and why is that not a problem?"
Did you read what I wrote above? Obviously not. This is just like the Deep Brain Stimulation fraud by Tipu Aziz. It was discovered years ago in HUMANS by accident, and yet Tipu Aziz is funded by Oxford University to commit atrocities on innocent monkeys, to 'study' Parkinson's Disease. The only trouble is, monkeys don't get Parkinson's Disease, and we already found out how Deep Brain Stimulation works, through an accidental HUMAN experiment...
This is "all for naught" because we will know NOTHING about this procedure in HUMANS until HUMAN experiments are done. Just like we knew NOTHING about heart transplants in humans when we first attempted them - the human recipients ALL DIED within days or weeks... So guess what? They carried on EXPERIMENTING on humans (though of course, they never used the word "experiment") until they found what worked and what didn't.
92% of drugs that pass animal 'tests' FAIL human 'clinical trials' (otherwise known as HUMAN EXPERIMENTS). Thus the animal model fails to predict human outcomes. Therefore this 'research' is a fraud and the sick fuckers who do it should be incarcerated for a few decades for torturing animals.
