Two Trojans For Mac OS X
I Don't Believe in Imaginary Property writes "F-Secure is reporting that there are two new Mac OS X trojans. The first is just a proof-of-concept from the MacShadows people that takes advantage of the unpatched ARDAgent vulnerability to get root access when run by the user. The second relies on social engineering: it's a poker game that requests the user's password, claiming to have detected a 'corrupt preference file.' It then takes control of the computer. Now that the source of the proof-of-concept is publicly available, we can expect that future trojans won't just politely request your password."
I thought macintosh built secure computers, after reading this, I'm just not as convinced...
Wed, Jun 25, 2008: GNAA Announces two new trojans for Windows 7!
Codename Doberman Penis and Lick And Suck, GNAA is expected to demo these two new Windows 7 trojans at the next Gay Nigger Association of America gay nigger bake sale.
"This will be our fifth gay nigger bake sale." Said a GNAA spokesperson. "Of course, all income from our gay nigger bake sale goes to our Penis Rocket To The Moon Project." When asked about the trojans, the GNAA spokesperson replied, "We know Windows 7 is not available to the public yet, but we have secured a leaked copy from one of our GNAA top level moles inside Microsoft. We will be releasing these two trojans to coincide with a leaked release of Windows 7 on July 4th, 12 P.M., EST."

Seriously, a "proof of concept" trojan is no more than fear mongering. Wake me when there's some malware that's spreading around and is an actual threat. Not when someone claims to have made one that's no threat at all.
I'd have thought that Spartans would be more likely to home in on Mac users, given their reported proclivities...
