How To Deal With Internet Bullies?
creyes123 writes "I run a free website with an online model airplane design calculator. The number of registered users has quickly climbed and I've gotten many compliments. Out of nowhere, a fellow shows up and proceeds to bad mouth the calculator in a posting in one of my forums. After I politely point out that he's mistaken and should have looked at the documentation before posting, he changes the subject and bad mouths a different 'flaw.' The cycle repeats a few more times, with no apparent end in sight. I want to encourage folks to share their opinions, but constructive criticism was clearly not his goal. I feel that the whole episode was just a massive time waster for me. What did I do to deserve this? Could I have handled this better?"
But the game designers always favor the melee classes at the expense of the pure casters.
There is really only 1 Spanish to English translator for the IPhone. Its 20 bucks and from Ultralingua.
Reviews for it were really poor overall, but there were a few giving it 5 stars so I decided, what's 20 bucks, and gave it a try.
The program is fantastic!
I went back and started reading more of the comments and it became clear that many "reviews" either a) hadn't used the program, b) were just bitching about the cost $20 in hopes of getting the developer to drop the price or c) just doing basic trolling like the reviews saying something like "Obama must like this b/c he wants everyone to learn spanish" 1/5 stars.
I submitted a positive review, but it seems unfair to everyone that the system is used in this manner.
