Teens Arrested For Motorized Office Chair

German police have confiscated the world's fastest office chair and arrested its 17-year-old inventors. The duo added a lawnmower engine, brakes and a metal frame to the office chair and were reported to be driving it all over the streets of Gross-Zimmern. Police did not comment on the chair's handling or acceleration but I look forward to it being profiled on Top Gear.

    I've disabled the category images, but I still see the icons in the idle section stories. How do I disable these? Am I going to have to add /. to my adblock filters?

      This isn't an offtopic comment at all. A new section was launched, there's a problem with the new section, that problem's posted in that section. What's the problem?

    mod'ed me down.

    These kids exhibited quite a bit of talent, creativity, and chutzpa. The fact that they're on an open street is irrelevant if they're not causing harm to anyone. That's what I meant.

    I don't protest my own mods, until now, but this is something against these creative and daring kids. We don't see that anymore. We are so scared about our own and others safety that we're smothering our human inventiveness. How sad.

    What I want to know is why there is a picture at all. I have that fucking horseshit disabled on the front page.

    In addition to the content being pointless (Malda, start wordpress.malda.com and put this bullshit there) there is also broken preferences and comment box sizes that only exist for idle.slashdot.org.

    While I unsubscribed in the past for the bullshit that has gone on here, I might just fucking stop coming all together if idle doesn't get put somewhere else -- like not on slashdot's main page.
