The Mobile Internet You'll Be Using In 10 Years
mr sanjeev writes "After being plagued with project overruns and a scaling back of the final system, the US military's next-generation satellite communications network is another step closer to reality, with completion of the payload module for the third and final Advanced Extremely High Frequency (EHF) satellite ... If GPS and remote imaging (think Google Earth) have proven anything, it is that technology initially developed for military purposes, and extremely expensive for initial civil use, will eventually reach the point where it forms part of our daily lives without us ever being conscious of the massive investment to get to that point."
Hu in the fook said that I'd be using this mobile Internet system? In my opinion, and I don't have one, tiz better to be using tha Intornet from the comfy of your gosh darn desk than to use it from some tiny screen on a mobal fone in the streets of New York with all kinds of rude peopel pushing and shoving while yer trying to read the damn game scores. But that's just my opinoion that I don't have. Beside,s typical in the govment style to spend a billion trillion bucks on something that should "oinly" cost a million billion bucks. Dost ye get tha pictoor? My speling iz tha cottonpickin' suxx0rz. Please mod this funny.
McCain/Palin '08. Now THAT's hope and change!
What the fuck are you talking about? And what the fuck is the parent talking about? My 3G wireless USB dongle that works all over the continental US is great and very fast. There is nothing in Europe "microcellular WAN" that is faster. What the hell is "microcellular WAN" anyway? Fucking Wi-Max or some shit? If that's what you are talking about, there's nothing cellular about it. And if you think I'd move to shitty ass third world Europe for faster internet, you must live in Amsterdam and be smoking some pretty good shit. You European fucks are so full of shit. Go take a shower and put some deoderant on or something. As if, right?
