AIDS Virus Now Estimated To Be 100 Years Old
ChazeFroy writes "A new study estimates that the AIDS virus, HIV, started to circulate in the human population between 1884 and 1924, with a more focused estimate at 1908. This is much earlier than the previously-held estimate of 1930. 'The new result is "not a monumental shift, but it means the virus was circulating under our radar even longer than we knew," says Michael Worobey of the University of Arizona, an author of the new work.' The article also speculates that HIV first began to spread in Kinshasa, Congo."
HAHA, look at spatial's comment history. When you are done with that, look at what he really thinks of Slashdot and everyone on here with this comment. You can tell just by one simple comment he shills for M$. It wouldn't surprise me if M$ hired him to attemp to crash Slashdot. Nothing to worry about as M$ shills can't use their brain to do any thinking. M$ shills are Windoze and non-free software addicts.

He's right about the "wanna be elitist" movement here, as regards the "registered member elite" around this place and how you are really the "lemmings and sheep" about this place and the fact you are massively trackable as well, because you are registered here. Have fun being part of "the in crowd/the team" fool, you're easily trackable, and what was pointed out about Spatial above can be done to yourself, and, any other registered trackable dolt, all whom try to act much like yourself with you now apparently considering yourself the "master of internettiquette" and how somebody is supposed to post and write. Are you the "master of all things mystical"? No, you are not. Personally speaking I found his comment totally readable, capitals used notwithstanding, and there are bodies of evidence out there supporting his point on vaccines being manufactured from simian hosts that may have led to HIV being carried over to human beings, and vaccination may be a possible vector.
