AIDS Virus Now Estimated To Be 100 Years Old
ChazeFroy writes "A new study estimates that the AIDS virus, HIV, started to circulate in the human population between 1884 and 1924, with a more focused estimate at 1908. This is much earlier than the previously-held estimate of 1930. 'The new result is "not a monumental shift, but it means the virus was circulating under our radar even longer than we knew," says Michael Worobey of the University of Arizona, an author of the new work.' The article also speculates that HIV first began to spread in Kinshasa, Congo."

The trouble is that not all of us can find a monogamous partner. I am NOT "Spatial", or the initial poster either - so, why was my post "modded down" (in regards to vaccines & the use of simians in their production)?
Spatial writes in nearly the same fashion I do is all - thus, some "mod down happy moron registered user" did so... what a joke!
I.E.-> I was just making a statement in regards to a possible vector for the AIDS epidemic (HIV rather, formerly called HTLV-III) may have originated & spread through is all, via practices used in making vaccines.
(AND, Lord knows, "big money" will perform shoddy practices to keep from losing profits (hell, even in China, or doesn't the recent problem w/ their melanin pigment milk making babies sick not indicate just a bit of that?). I took a look @ it, thought it out, I get nothing good from it.
HOWEVER - What downsides are there?
Primarily - Well, for one, I can do what was done to Spatial here, & track ever post he ever made, for starters.
Thus - Being registered here is a downside, period, because of that alone.
Secondarily - So, a 10 posts a day limit is imposed on us A/C's right? BIG DEAL - I can & have "blown by that" puny little restriction for years now, & there are numerous ways to do so (very simple, & I won't mention how it's done, but anyone worth their salt in the field of computers can do so, easily - it truly is, child's play, to do so).
