Map of Web Content By Perspective

An anonymous reader writes "Cruxlux has a perspective-based search engine up. It provides a map of results laid out by viewpoint. For example, querying 'Obama' shows a map with liberal blog posts, articles, and video clumped together, conservative stuff nearby, and nonpolitical sources farther away. It works for nonpolitical queries too (sports, etc.). It also lets you limit results to certain types of views — you can focus on hot 'Obama' content from a liberal angle, for instance."

What a transparent and lame attempt to get Obama on the front page of Slashdot.

We know this the editors and readers skew to the liberal left, but let's focus on real news for nerds here. The story could have been submitted using any other term, but using Obama amounted to a political ad for him.

LOL. If you've been visiting slashdot for long, you wouldn't have expected anything less. This site is farther left than abc/nbc/msnbc/communist party combined. I guess they feel that if they say the same thing enough times that it'll make it true. Fact is that Obama had a bigger hand in our financial situation than Bush and McCain did. But for a site [supposedly] dedicated to the scientific method, they like to look the other way regardless of the evidence. Most of the visitors are about as science-minded as a urinal cake.
