Old Materials Resurface For "Prebiotic Soup"
AliasMarlowe writes "Stanley Miller performed the famous experiments in the 1950s showing that amino acids and other building blocks for biomolecules could be produced by passing lightning through a mix of simple hydrocarbons, water vapor, and ammonia (thought at the time to approximate the Earth's early atmosphere). Other experiments approximated the environment around volcanic eruptions, but those results were not published. Following his death last year, a former student discovered the materials from those experiments, in labelled vials. Analysis of this material indicates that the conditions around volcanic eruptions (still thought to be representative of such events in the early Earth) resulted in a higher yield of amino acids than the simple lightning experiments, and resulted in a greater variety of amino acids." is it time to get real yet? A LOT of energy is being squandered in attempts to keep US in the dark. in the end (give or take a few 1000 years), the creators will prevail (world without end, etc...), as it has always been. the process of gaining yOUR release from the current hostage situation may not be what you might think it is. butt of course, most of US don't know, or care what a precarious/fatal situation we're in. for example; the insidious attempts by the
stop bullshitting with these stupid internet sites and come suck my dick already. Not like you lazy humans have anything better to do.
Obama is actively working to end-run around the 2nd amendment by outlawing bullets via EPA concerns. This is not made up. Some quick Googling will show no end of articles on it.
Obama has admitted to working with the airlines and FAA, ensuring they get a free ride which will increase costs to both the flying private and public while increasing risk at the same time. He recently went on record with AOPA. Take a look at what he says, how it says, what he doesn't say, and how little he's actually talking.
Obama has been wrong on every military action he has suggested would not work and on every action he backed, which was implemented. A guy that has been 100% wrong on all things military is NOT the person you want leading the military.
Go look at his position on just about everything. He's a polished snake oil salesman. He actually says nothing and keeps his statements as terse as possible. He's a great speaker and has charmed millions - but brings nothing to the table. That's what's so dang scary.
All we really know about him is he's anti-constitution, he's been wrong on just about everything military that matters, he publicly says nothing, and will likely increase costs and risks to all that fly which allowing the airlines to be run poorly and continue to receive government handouts. Hmmm...that really sounds like who you want in office.
At least McCain tells where he stands and you know what you get. And contrary to the spinning by the "in love with Obama press", McCain is not another Bush. If you bother to ignore the pro-Obama-love-fest-press and do some reading on your own, it becomes very clear the press is full of crap. And unlike Obama, he's actually been right on most things military.
There's plenty I don't like about McCain (long list actually), but at least he's an American (believes in the Constitution rather than working to end run around it) and you know where your footing is with him.
