When will Americans wake up to realise he is not a malicious mulsim gihad terrorist but is a man with a passion to change America for the good?
America is a nation boasting 5% of the earths population. A moddest number I agree, when compared with a nation like China or India, both of which sit on just under or over 20% respectively. When you also look at energy consumption of these 3 big nations, who comes out on top? The good ole U.S and A, using over 20% of the total energy consumption of the planet.
Americas oil dependancy is like a heroin habbit. It is so good, but you can never get the buzz the first hit gave you so you keep coming back for more and more. To the point where you cannot sustain your energy consumption. Now if you were to be producing anywhere from 50% plus of your oil then I would be at liberty to say, "well, the U.S.A might well be fucking up our climate by releasing greenhouse gases and other ozone depleting gases, but hey! They're doing the right thing and becoming less dependant on the Middle Eastern countries, whom they hate so much and wage war with constantly"
It is a shame some American nationalist will plot to assassinate him during his first term.
McCain wouldn't have been any good, either. But the answer to the current malaise isn't a European-style socialist regime. It's government interference in the free market that got us in this mess to begin with.
US troops are in Iraq because of oil. This is the US government interfering in the free market. If the government were not involved, and Americans paid the true price for petroleum products at the pump, we'd be much closer right now to the reality of mainstream renewable energy.
President-elect Barry Hussein Soetoro is just going to bring us a different flavor of big government instead of getting the hell out of the way and letting real people come up with real solutions (and act on them!)

You comment are the funniest I have every hear. You are so right. Barry Hussein is a socialist. Also, Global warming is a myth, and if it isn't we can solve it will a nuke powered fridge. Also, Reaganomics does work, we just didn't give it long enough. Debt is free money. Palin is my hero. She is the new face of the Republicans that know that Borrow and Spending is the way to create a better USA. Also, Joe the Plummer proved that Obama is a socialist, though if he made over $250,000, he may statistically have voted for Obama for some strange reason.

Someone needs to warn her that the charging handle on that thing is gonna leave a nasty mark on such a healthy lady... Better yet, trade with her for an AR-15 with a southpaw upper receiver.
