Obama Sides With Bush In Spy Case

The President has asked a federal judge to stay a ruling that would allow key evidence into the domestic spying case against the government. I stopped laughing the minute the US elected a demagogue on a platform of "hope and change". Those "Republicans" who voted for Obama are going to get half of what they asked for all right (change), but probably not the kind they wanted. Now, I'm laughing at those assholes. Laughing at other people's misery is the only amusement left to me, as it's becoming abundantly clear that not only am I, and people like me (that is, taxpayers) going to have to pay for the bank bailouts, but we are also going to have to pay for the dramatic expansion of the zero-obligation voters that Obama is pandering to. Oh yeah, and when that 25% unemployment hits, and I get laid off, Robert Reich has made it abundantly clear that I won't be the target of the stimulus spending, being a highly technical white male.
