Microsoft Releases Super-Secure XP to US Air Force
Wired is reporting that Microsoft is releasing the most secure version of Windows XP ever created, but only if you are the US Air Force. "The Air Force persuaded Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer to provide it with a secure Windows configuration that saved the service about $100 million in contract costs and countless hours of maintenance. At a congressional hearing this week on cybersecurity, Alan Paller, research director of the Sans Institute, shared the story as an template for how the government could use its massive purchasing power to get companies to produce more secure products. And those could eventually be available to the rest of us. Security experts have been arguing for this "trickle-down" model for years. But rather than wield its buying power for the greater good, the government has long wimped out and taken whatever vendors served them. If the Air Force case is a good judge, however, things might be changing."
I sent an e-mail through yahoo e-mail to the CJC(Canadian Jewish Congress) a few weeks ago complaining about some of their members active censure of David Icke (even trying to get his lectures canceled in the UK) ...a day later when i try to access my e-mail account i get a message that someone is already logged in from a different IP address (first time that's ever happened) ...i was not happy about my privacy being violated so simply.
for your amusement, here's the e-mail:
Subject: Re: Suppression of David Icke by Vancouver members of CJC
Dear Mr. Farber:
I am deeply disappointed to learn that Vancouver based members of your organization chose to censure Mr Icke. David Icke is a leader for the freedom of all people around the world (including Canada), and the decision made by your members is a great detriment to the global cause for freedom of humanity(he also believes in animal rights too). When you choose not to support people like David Icke, you are furthering the enslavement of the common people to the global elite, whom i will continue to hope you are not a member of. What your people chose to support, instead of David Icke, are individuals who refer to common people as "Useless Eaters" or "Expendable Containers" depending on who you talk to. If you have never heard of these terms used by the "elite" before, here's a video interview of one of their former members that might acquaint you with the term: Interview of George Green, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkcQEMi6tZo
I hope these members of your organization responsible for this censure will acquire the intelligence to forward a public apology to Mr. Icke for their wrongdoing against him.
Sincerely,
A Concerned Citizen
