Custom Firmware For the PSP-3000 Released
Busshy writes "Today, owners of PSP-3000 consoles, and those on PSP-2000s with boards that were previously incompatible, have now joined all those who have been enjoying PSP homebrew for years with the release of a new custom firmware that brings emulation and much more to those systems. You will need the recent Chickhen homebrew enabler installed for it to work."
I'm sure the remaining 26 PSP owners are thrilled!
I wonder if /. ran a story saying "Cisco routers cracked to run unofficial firmware - rip up your Cisco support contracts now*" or similar, it would get hit with a cease and desist faster than a speeding lawyer.
But, just because this is about games, the editors feel its 'okay' to promote piracy. Which is really just what this post is all about.
*can't actually be arsed to check...
If he's the Walrus then can I be a penguin please?
All dirty fucking pirates should be sent to a federal pound you in the ass prison.
When you run homebrew on a PSP, it makes Jesus cry.
In practice, I doubt there's a single instance of someone doing this who isn't committing copyright violations.
