Futurama Rumored To Return On Comedy Central
avajcovec points out a brief note on Collider.com that Comedy Central has ordered 13 new episodes of Futurama. Quoting: "Though still technically a rumor at this point, word is that 'Futurama' production offices have already opened and that casting is about to move forward. This should be a welcome surprise to fans of the show who have already gone through the series' cancellation and resurrection as direct-to-DVD movies."
The episodes I've seen of Futurama have been good. I've not seen many, as I don't subscribe to pay tv. The episodes I've seen of Family Guy uniformly suck. And WTF is "The Life and Times of Tim" ? If that is a "hit US comedy", then they missed an S in the summary. Furthermore, if that's a hit, I would really hate to see the misses.
Bring back Ren and Stimpy !
Who else could get a pass from the world press when one day he's telling Muslims that the war in Iraq was illegal (despite Saddam's continual provocation and flaunting of UN resolutions), and the next day he's telling US soldiers in Iraq what a great job they're doing? I ask you, would George Bush have been allowed to get away with spinning continuing job losses positively by using an unmeasurable metric like "jobs saved or created?" Attention Associated Propaganda machine: "fun-employment," as you've so cutely named being laid off from your job, is only an option for single yuppies or grown-ups who never grew up and are still mooching off their parents. The world press has about as much credibility in matters regarding Obama as Pravda during the Cold War.
