Boxee vs. Zinc vs. Hulu

For those with a Windows PC and some time for TV, DeviceGuru writes "Which is the best Internet media streaming application for a media-center PC? Boxee, Zinc, or the new Hulu Desktop? A post at DeviceGuru.com reviews these three media streaming platforms and draws some interesting conclusions. Key pros and cons are tabulated and numerous screenshots are included. Interestingly, despite lots of Boxee hype, Zinc already has a number of valuable features that Boxee is scrambling to add to its next version, due out in the fall. On the other hand, Boxee boasts far more third-party content-access applications support."

Yeah fair enough, my point wasn't particular about taxes, tho.

It was about the crazy emphasis the U.S.A. puts on military spending and how much corporate welfare is going on courtesy of Mr Taxpayer - all at the same time we hear "U.S.A. No 1 - U.S.A. No 1" and it starts to get old real quick.

In fact I'm an idiot for biting the troll hand but I guess I snapped this one time.

You have the benefit of being able to stand behind an ally who casts a very large shadow. So show some God damned respect, you fucking coward.

That's the biggest pile of horse crap. Most of our oil comes from the Middle East, just like yours. The difference is that we don't kill innocent women and children to steal the oil. The American economy is in decline because most Americans are living in poverty and cannot afford fuel and housing.

Hold on. I don't agree with about any of the above comments, but let's be clear, we never stole any oil. Our gas prices have gone up to 4 times higher than they were before the invasion of Iraq. Clearly we're not getting any deals on it. Secondly, it wasn't just us. The UN was with us for the operation. Lastly, I can't say that there haven't been unfortunate casualties of war. For that I am truly sorry. But I continue to support the soldiers, even if I don't support the administration. If you talk to any American soldier, they'll be glad to tell you how they're making a difference over there, and how pulling out now will create anarchy. Every soldier I've talked to is extremely proud of the job they did/are doing. We're not some country of murderous thieves. We probably over extend ourselves with so much foreign aid to so many countries. So please, think before you throw out such abusive comments.

Gee Obongo, I thought the Missile Defense Shield was an overpriced toy, and unnecessary in a world where all megalomaniacal dictators can be appeased with a Kumbayah letter-writing campaign or YouTube video from you. After all, you DID deride it as unproven technology during the presidential campaign, and then proceeded to axe $1.2bn from the program's budget once you took office. Why the sudden change of heart? Let me guess: you had to take of the rose-colored glasses once you were the one behind the desk receiving daily threat briefings and making decisions about the safety of a quarter of a billion citizens. I'll bet the disconnect between reality and your world view was so great that you laid awake in bed sweating for nights on end, thinking, "Oh shit, how can I pull this off without looking like Bush, and without having the next 9-11 happen on my watch, or without laying the groundwork for a massive successful terrorist attack like Clinton did?"
