Huge Unidentified Organic Blob Floating Around Alaska

Z80xxc! writes "The Anchorage Daily News reports that a 15 mile-long blob of unknown, 'gooey,' probably organic material is floating past communities on Alaska's North Slope. The US Coast Guard sent pollution experts to investigate, who determined that it was not an oil spill or other type of pollution, but were unable to determine what it is. A sample is currently being analyzed by experts in Anchorage, while the blob is following the current northwards."

    It's not even remotely surprising that people decided to start with the Palin jokes. It's just sad and pathetic that the overwhelming majority of you that made the 'jokes' weren't funny in the slightest, made 'retard' comments, or placenta jokes. For 'nerds'/'geeks', a lot of you are just unoriginal and uninspired.

      Possibly, but only because the markets are so good at grinding an actual productive economy to a screeching halt through speculation. It's a gift to Wall Street, not a serious ecological policy.

      We currently spend a much larger percent of our GDP on health care than any other nation, including those with nationalized health care. The WHO has repeatedly reported that the world's most effective health care systems are overwhelmingly nationalized. There is scant evidence to support your assertion, and a large number of data points which directly contradict it.

    The AC is right.

    Every time I get into a discussion with a conservative about blogs, policy, history and such I end up having to defend the fucking idiots at the DailyKOS. It makes me feel dirty and frankly disgusted. They can't stick to policy, they have to degenerate into Jr. High name calling like you did motherfucker.

    You and the idiots at the DailKOS make it near impossible to have a reasonable discussion about facts, policy and what really needs to happen.

    So shut the fuck about Palin and any other person on the other side because you are just making it harder for everyone on our side to be taken seriously.
