New Hitchhiker's Guide Book "Not Very Funny"

If you read Hitchhiker to have a good laugh, maybe you're going to be disappointed," wrote Nicolas Botti, on his Douglas Adams fan site earlier this month."

    I find the notion that the Earth is supposed to perpetually remain at the same temperature to be at best idiotic, and at worst an exercise in UN hegemony and totalitarianism. North America was half-covered by a glacier loooong before the industrial revolution, and we experienced a mini ice age as recently as the late 1700s. I suppose excessive sabretooth tiger farting caused the glaciers to recede from North America.
