$358 Million Patent Judgment Against Microsoft Overturned

eldavojohn writes "Last year, Microsoft was ordered to pay Alcatel-Lucent hundreds of millions of dollars for patent infringement. Well, that award has just been overturned by the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, saving Microsoft a considerable sum. But Microsoft isn't in the clear yet; the appellate court said that they did infringe on Alcatel-Lucent patents, but that those infringements did not warrant $358 million in damages. The case needs to be retried."

Been watching Faux Spews, have we? You Do realize the fricking Iraqis have universal health care, right? That's right, it is in their constitution, which was dictated to them by Bush Co. of course you'll probably be paying for it under the banner of "Operation Enduring Screwjob" but hey, can't hurt the corporate profits of bunches like Blackwater and Haliburton, right? And you DO know that Haliburton reincorporated overseas so they wouldn't have to actually pay taxes on the war profiteering they did, yes? That's right, they took YOUR tax money and then moved overseas so THEY wouldn't have to pay taxes on the money they fleeced from your pocket.

Kinda funny how Iraq and all of the rest of the western world can get affordable health care, but you are just supposed to go bleed in a ditch, huh? Of course we mustn't touch the 400-4000% profits the drug co. is making, or dare look at the cherry picking the insurance company is doing, Heaven forbid! To quote the late great philosopher George Carlin "You know why they call it the American Dream? Because you have to be asleep to believe in it"
