Now Texas Instruments is sending out DMCA notices to take them down."

    If they want to keep on to certain copyrights, they have to make due diligence on making a token showing of trying to enforce. Nothing to see here, move along, and collect the paycheck from YOUR employer who probably earns profits (to pay you) off of copyrighted stuff too.
