Carriers, Manufacturers Are Strangling Android

The rumored Google Phone could be a ploy to upset the wireless industry, or it could be an expensive niche device. Either way, it would be a bid to take Android back from the companies that seem hell-bent on destroying it. Google Voice, Latitude, NES, SNES, Genesis, TG16, Playstation, User specified text & email tones, Video (and way more than 3fps) Bluetooth profiles & MMS on older hardware, ... let's face it, if it weren't for jailbreaking the iPhone itself would be the best possible advertisement for Droid. Apple's done their best to avoid innovation and strangle growth; it's about time some real competition showed up.
