Newspaper Reports Pedobear Is Winter Olympic Mascot

A Polish newspaper, The Gazeta Olsztynska, has mistakenly reported that Pedobear is one of the mascots of the 2010 Winter Olympics. An image of the notorious internet meme, who loves to love children, was shown alongside genuine Olympic mascots Quatchi, Sumi, Miga and Mukmuk to illustrate a feature about the Games.

      From the article:

      The four genuine mascots of the Vancouver Olympics and Paralympics were inspired by traditional native creatures.

      I had no idea Pedobear was Canadian. I guess it's just another part of Canadian culture that I'm ignorant about. I'll wait and see if 4chan sends out a DMCA take down notice for copyright infringement.

    Expect great deal of win prior and during Euro 2012 (btw, ot even one stadium is close to ready; it's clear that half of crucial autobahns won't be)

    This is hilarious. I don't think I would have ever imagined seeing the Pedobear in a newspaper. I'm sure I would have cracked if I had seen it in my local paper...

    Well... Shouldn't be a problem since the official 2012 Olympics logo has way more pedo than pedobear.
