jockeys writes "In a hilarious prank, two Norwegians chased the Google car while wearing spearfishing attire." Remarkable people, the Norwegians aren't they? Beautiful dry suits!

      Well, they could be icefishing. But, why do people spend all their time playing WOW. At least this is funny and kind of constructive.

      The van must drive pretty darn slowly. Have you ever run in flippers?!? I guess the other option was an impromptu face plant on google maps.

    Tried to think of something to do yesterday when the google car came, but then went on Google earth and realized that they already had when I was on vacation. But still, the question remains, what other awesome things could you do with a Google maps car? What would xkcd do?

      Put up posters in it's intended path with banned URLs from the Australian web filter list.... Oh wait, that's illegal

      Put up posters in it's intended path with instructions on how to spoof a custom ip address with your bittorrent downloader (eg www.acma.gov.au 165.191.2.20).

    I can see you suffer from a lack of "SLACK". Here is a nation of people who have paid their $30 to Bob and have unlimited slack.

    I wouldn't say norway have an overabundance of financial security.
    Oh sure, everyone may earn more money than say their neighbours in sweden, but this really includes everyone, the guy baking your pizza too, his wage is high, because he charges $30 for a pizza, everyone does it to everyone, except when it comes to more global wares, say electronics, which have a similar price all over europe. Giant TVs, iphones and DSLRs are thus relatively cheap, the rest; not so much, take the rent for an average 50m^2 apartment in norway and go to poland with the money and you'll be living in a giant high standard flat and be eating premium steak for breakfast. Electronics however cost the same in both places.
