Dell To Leave China For India
halfEvilTech writes "India's Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, told the Indian press that Dell chairman Michael Dell assured him that Dell was moving $25 billion in factories from China to India. Original motives were cited for environmental concerns. But later details come up as to Dell wanting a 'safer environment conductive to enterprise.'"
there is the little issue of China having electricity and India not, but apparently spies and lies count for more.
if this is supposed to be a new economy, how come they still want my old fashioned money?
Dell are traitors to their own country whether moving to China or India.
It's not complicated.
Taiwan is it's own country by all measures except that China still thinks it has a right to it.
No one outside China thinks Taiwan is part of China.

Indian off-shore software developers have ruined the reputation of India for a great deal of Americans, over the past 15 years or so. They've just sent far too much broken, shitty software our way, that has caused us trouble day in and day out.
You may think it's just American software developers who hold this attitude. Don't worry, it's not. Most users who know that their software was developed in India have a similar distrust, too. After all, they're the ones who get stuck using the fecal software for hours each day.
This poor reputation has expanded beyond just software. Just the other day I was trying on shoes. I found a pair that felt okay, but I was suspicious about the quality. I looked at the label, and noticed they were manufactured in India. So I put them back in the box, and put the box back on the shelf right away. If Indian-built shoes are anything like Indian-built software, I want nothing to do with them.
So your solution is to take away their job opportunities too?
If you mod me down the terrorists will have won
