Is Mimas Hiding Pac-Man?

cremeglace writes "Shaped into the likes of the Death Star of Star Wars fame by the giant crater Herschel, 396-kilometer-diameter Mimas was expected to have its warmest surface temperatures on the equator, where it was early afternoon. Instead, it was warmest in the morning (all of 92 K), giving rise in the science team's temperature-calibrated color scheme to a very large Pac-Man."

    P. S. no mistakes of grammar in any responses, this is a crime punishable by death (executions will be met out by our own grammar Nazi unit).

I believe commas don't usually allow capital letters on the succeeding word.

Your subject indicates that you are addressing multiple aggregate groups of humans (peoples), instead of simply many individuals (people). The content of your comment does not support this.

In English, capital letters are generally reserved for proper nouns, acronyms, and the initial words of sentences. In your post, "on" is none of these.

"P.S." does not customarily include a space.

"Met out" is largely meaningless in this context. I believe the phrase you are seeking is "meted out."

While it is difficult to argue that your use of parentheses is strictly incorrect, it is odd to use them when an additional sentence can be used to convey exactly the same meaning.

It's a good thing your comment isn't a response, or you'd be on the run from the Nazis!

To list the problems: wrong "your" (should be "you're"), beginning a sentence with "but", misspelling "Slashdot[t]ers", change of number (either singular "Slashdot[t]ers/Geeks" or plural "yourself"), and comma splice at the end. As well, I don't believe "grammar" is a proper noun, but I'll overlook that and "Geek" in deference to style.
