olyar noted that Joss Whedon has been tapped to direct The Avengers. This should make a lot of nerds very excited, and begin rampant speculation on Buffy/Firefly/Horrible universe actor cameos. Hope the script doesn't suck.

I've long been an advocate of the death penalty for Hollywood directors and producers who remake movies or television shows from the 1960s and '70s.

I know it's tough, and may seem a little unfair sometimes, but it's really all for the good.

Sorry, Joss, it's been nice to have you, but no exceptions. We'll remember you for the good stuff you did.

I watched this atrocity in a movie theater, suffice it to say I walked out and this is unheard of for me. It was the worst movie in my opinion ever and I never want even to hear about this again. Thank you /. for bringing the pain back.
