Quantum Teleportation Achieved Over 16 km In China

China has scientists? And here I thought they stole/copied anything novel from the West and rarely have an original idea of their own.

The writer of xkcd isn't funny and he isn't clever. If you think otherwise, then you're just an uncultured idiot.
The great thing about being well cultured is having a sense defined by the amalgamation of many cultures and being well rounded from it. xkcd's tiny scope and its pseudo-intellectual, puerile content is the opposite of that.
In other words, get out from your shelter for a decade or two and then come back to talk about it.
