Judge Rejects SCO's Motion For a New Trial
An anonymous reader writes "A judge has rejected SCO's motion for a new trial in the company's dispute over UNIX intellectual property ownership. The ruling validates a verdict that was issued in April by a jury who determined that Novell, and not SCO, is the rightful owner of the UNIX SVRX copyrights. This means SCO cannot continue to pursue its litigation against IBM and other Linux users. 'There was substantial evidence that Novell made an intentional decision to retain ownership of the copyrights,' the judge wrote in his decision. 'The Court finds that the verdict is not clearly, decidedly, or overwhelmingly against the weight of the evidence. Therefore, SCO is not entitled to a new trial.'"

And let's not even mention 0bama playing "feed the crocodile" with Iran. And given Iran's publicly-stated policy of "wiping Israel off the map", 0bama's pressure on Israel to stop defending itself (Do you have the stones to count how many thousands of rockets Iran-backed Hamas has fired from Gaza?) actually makes Israel all that much more likely to attack Iran in a preemptive strike BEFORE the mad mullahs get nukes.
Because if the US won't defend Israel, their only protection from Islamic jihadi genocide is themselves.
At least Helen Thomas finally did something useful - she exposed the fact that no withdrawal from Lebanon, no removal of settlements, in fact no concessions whatsoever will ever placate those who stand by and watch and cheer if they don't actively support Islam as it performs a more final solution, commits genocide, and "wipes Israel off the map".
