Pakistani Lawyer Wants Mark Zuckerberg Executed
Earthquake Retrofit sends along a piece from The Register reporting on a nightmare scenario of legal jurisdiction on the Internet: a Pakistani lawyer has filed blasphemy charges, carrying the death penalty, against Mark Zuckerberg and other Facebook executives (and the pseudonomous user who initiated the "Draw Muhammad" contest last month). Pakistani police have apparently opened an investigation, according to this Google translation of a BBC Urdu report."
By 'cave', I presume you mean kill 500,000 women and children in Irq ("the price was worth it"), detaining others without trial, torturing some, murdering civilians at wedding parties on a daily basis, build hundreds of military bases in their countries, etc, etc.
Yeah and the Crusades never happened either, right?

I'm always amazed at how protected every religion and world view is. Die if you draw a picture of Muhammad ... be prosecuted for "hate speech" if you speak out against homosexuality. All save one -- the ones who following Jesus Christ. I'm not talking about Mormons, Catholics, Jehovah's Witnesses, Baptists, snake handlers or any other man-made fabrications of the sort (as are all these, and provably so. See "A Woman Rides the Beast" by Dave Hunt, etc... ). I'm speaking about those who following God's word ( the Bible in a proper translation ). To these, it is common place for their Lord's name to be used only in vanity, jest or mockery. In fact, if used in any other sense, it is counted as offense.
The fantastic irony of this, that actually strengthens my faith, is the Bible specifies all these things shall be. I've spoken with many people for hours at length on these subjects -- typically when they find out I am a Christian and "Christian" does not mean what they perceive it to mean -- and find that regardless of education level there exists an emotional response (be it favorable or unfavorable) to the message of the Gospel. Rarely, in fact never, have I met an individual who says to me, "I've read the Bible cover to cover and I don't believe it's true, and here's why ... " and then proceeds to lead me through Philosophy (the foundation of every science), Mathematics (the foundation of every physical science), Archeology, Biology, Physics, etc.
