Where Are the Joysticks For Retro Gaming?

Doctor O writes "With all those nice emulators for classic gaming around (such as MAME, VICE or Stella) I want to establish monthly retro gaming evenings with some friends. The problem is I can't find any good joysticks for that purpose. There's a new version of the legendary Competition Pro, but judging from the many one-star reviews on Amazon, it's terrible. I found the USB version of the classic Atari Joystick, but it doesn't seem to be available and would have prohibitive shipping costs to Germany anyway. So, Slashdot to the rescue — where are the suitable USB joysticks for retro gaming?"

Because engaging in sexual intercourse with an oppositely-sexed member of the same species is the height of sentient aspiration, right?

    You're pathetic. Commit suicide, immediately.

I've been buying up the real stuff here lately. It's sooo much better than this computer emulated crap. It was cool in the early 90's when the Internet first made it into the homes and dorms not to mention commuter camps :) for the geeks. You could download all the old games and stuff you would never have gotten or couldn't for that matter. But now? No. I wouldn't touch it. I don't have the time to play games. If I do find the time I want the real thing and since it's only going to be a handful of games anyway I don't need thousands of games. Not that I wouldn't LOVE that. It's just as I said- who here really has time for that? I for one have grown up. No- I don't have a girlfriend. Unless Mrs. Tux counts.
