Family Shoots 'I Will Survive' Video While Visiting Auschwitz

Jane Korman is taking some heat for posting a video of her family dancing to the disco hit, I Will Survive while on a trip to the Auschwitz death camp in Poland. The Kormans are Jewish; Jane defends the recording, saying the video, which includes her 89-year-old father who survived the holocaust, was "a celebration of life and survival."

The part where they are dancing in front of Hitler's intended 'museum to an extinct race' says it all. They are dancing in front of the failures of a guy who tried to destroy them and utterly lost. It's like pissing on the grave of your tormentor. Check out the old guy's dance moves at 3:00, he's happy to have survived.

If you live through a Holocaust then dancing to "I will Survive" in the place of you torment is an appropriate response. Hope he went and danced on Hitlers grave too.

Can someone tell me why the Australasian Performing Rights Association has any reason to order the takedown of a video containing a song performed by American Gloria Gaynor, written by Freddie Perren, American, and released on Polydor Records, British?
