Motorola Says eFuse Doesn't Permanently Brick Phones
radicalpi writes "Motorola has responded to claims that eFuse is designed to brick your device if you attempt to mod it or install unauthorized bootloaders. Yes, the device will still not operate with unauthorized software, but it will only go into recovery mode until you reinstall the authorized software. According to Motorola: 'If a device attempts to boot with unapproved software, it will go into recovery mode, and can re-boot once approved software is re-installed.'"
The message is clear:
"I might be a c*nt, but I'm not a f*cking c*nt!"

Mr.1766306 telling me how to act on slashdot? You posted a stupid comment. I replied. Grow up.
-- I have a private email server in my basement.
And now an Anonymous Coward is telling you that referring to ID number on Slashdot is an idiot move. You aren't smarter or better informed because you have a lower ID number. You actually damaged your argument by doing this.
When arguing, debate the topic; don't make this sort of ad hominem attack - because slamming someone for having a high ID number is damned near the textbook definition of ad hominem.
Some almost-clever person is probably going to say that I am making an ad hominem attack by saying this. Before you do this, please note that I didn't take sides in the discussion between Hatchet and Nethead. I could agree with either of them. However, I disagree with Nethead's method of debate.
You posted a comment that was clearly meant to cause flaming. Clearly misinterpreting an obvious statement is not amusing or interesting or insightful, it is trolling. You replied with a clear trollful statement intended to create flame, and I called it. Grow up.
Where is the mod rating for "scary"? Also,
