rmaureira writes "An awesome 33-foot-tall, 6 ton Optimus Prime replica is being shown at Beijing's Olympic Park. Made from junked car parts and scrap metal parts, it is impressive."

    You know what would be great? A steampunk style giant robot. Think if Transformers had been created back in the 50's, Optomus Prime might have been made partly from an Edsel.

    So dragging a bunch of old, junked cars out, welding them together, and transporting 30 tons of scrap as a display dedicated to a cartoon... is green?
