It ceases to be YOUR car at the moment you VOLUNTARILY register it with THE STATE, whereupon you are creating a revocable cestui que TRUST CORPORATION with THE STATE as the trustee, you as the beneficiary who gets to use THE STATEs motor vehicle, and YOU are the surety / security / collateral securing the TRUST.
