Taiwan Tabloid Sensation Next Media Recreate News

Ant writes "Next Media Animation (NWA) became popular due to its animated and sometimes humorous renderings for world news. Their official videos can be found on YouTube." They start by covering the Tiger Woods animation that made these guys known, and then talk about the process and the people behind it. I've attached an Apple video that you might have bumped into recently as well... it's worth the watch if you haven't seen it yet.

Adult Swim has been running these periodically for about six months now. The first one I remember was Andy Dick causing trouble in a bar....

Seriously? It's like we're not even trying anymore.

Exactly, the comments are the only reason I still come here. There are some really smart people here, as well as the most worthless trolls on the internet.

Good thing there are quality articles on the sciences to read here. Oh wait, it's just a stupid youtube promotion

Hello and welcome to slashdot.org! Here you'll find a wide variety of articles on a range of topics. Typically they will be demarcated by a category name followed by a colon (:). For example this particular article is labeled with "Entertainment:" mark. You'll also note there exists an icon to the right of the summary which generally follows the topic. In this case we have a foot.

Now, assuming you don't like this story you could:

    A) Post a flame attracting dispute about his this does or does not apply to 'nerds', 'news', and/or 'science'

    OR

    B) Stop electing to view stories labeled with "Entertainment:" or a foot icon.

Have a nice day, and enjoy your '-1' mods!

There are a lot of smart people here at /., and there's the rest of us ... surely the smart people should have figured out that voting on stories doesn't always work to the advantage of the this site. Democracy is the best form of government but it's not necessarily the best way to decide which stories get posted here.

News is plural the way sand is plural, and "news" is not verbing; "Next Media" is.

"News" has nothing to do with it.

That's right, because this story isn't news ...

I see what you did there!

Seriously though, slashdot. Is this front-page worthy? What's next? A video of a dog that thinks its people? Do the people running this site even care anymore about the content, or has their inner geek died over the years?

"It's technology related because it's on the internets!" does not make news for nerds.
