YokimaSun writes "The PS3 Hacking War took on a new turn few days ago with Sony releasing a new firmware that blocks USB devices, supposedly aimed at cloned PS3 Joypads, but more than likely to stop the efforts of hackers. Today the PS3 is now hackable using its own Sixaxis/DualShock 3 Controllers. How will Sony stop people now from playing emulators on the PS3?"

    Good for you but
    1. I don't want to run windows
    2. I don't want to make sure I have the right memory, right graphics card, right Direct X version, right processor
    3. PC game DRM is much worse and much more invasive than console DRM.

    The bunny hopping shiny green Power Ranger games?

    The FPS games that Microsoft was so worried about their quality that they sent out 900 dollar 'gift bags' to reviewers?

    The laggy P2P based FPS that can only handle 8 vs 8 online games?

    The games that have such shitty graphics they try covering the sub-HD jaggy mess with masses of Bloom?
