The Queen Joins Facebook

H3xx writes "The Queen is set to have an official presence on Facebook when a British Monarchy page launches on the internet-based social networking site. Buckingham Palace says it is not a personal profile page, but users can 'like' the service and receive updates on their news feed. The Queen has reportedly embraced the web and sends e-mails. A British Monarchy Twitter feed is also available. The Facebook page is due to go live from Monday morning. The page will also feature the Court Circular, recording the previous day's official engagements."

    Not because the Queen of England is getting her own FaceFuck page and Twattle feed, but because she thought she was the queen of America - the next Jackie O - and now America hates her wretched family to the core. Sorry Mooch-elle, we never loved you. I can see how you would think that we did, though. But it was really the rich self-loathing Jews in the liberal media, eager to cleanse their consciences of past racial sins, who hoisted you onto their shoulders and carried you into the White House. They kept telling you how beautiful you were in spite of your linebacker shoulders and your perpetual scowl. They kept telling you how great your sense of fashion was, even though you insist on meeting heads-of-state in primary-colored sleeveless monstrosities barely fit for an afternoon at the beach. The truth is, the only model you remind me of is that lady who played Mayday in "A View to a Kill." And she had a better ass and didn't have man-shoulders.

    I'm an American that's been living in Canada for 5 years. The monarchy is crap. All you get is an absentee head of state that shows up every few years or so to do a guest star appearance and that royal wave. Just ditch it and save the tax money. Think of something cool, like fractals, to put on the money instead of the Queen's bust. Besides, who wants to be ruled by a man that wanted to be a tampon?
