AffirmIt!, the Supportive Testing Framework

egalluzzo writes "Announced today, the AffirmIt! unit testing framework for Ruby eschews dismisses disses dispells the harsh, archaic notions of 'truth' and 'failure,' preferring instead to affirm your code. After all, who are they we Kelly the NRA to make value judgments about code that 'works' or 'doesn't work'? DHH announced earlier on Twitter that Rails plans to move to this new behavioral non-judgemental inclusive Wellesley evaluation framework in version 3.1."

Did you hold you code up in front of a full length mirror? you know your code won't enjoy the full affirmation effect if you don't use the full length mirror. For best results hold your code in front of the FLM while wearing a soft yet tasteful blue sweater, this will make the code more secure by making it feel safe in its surroundings.

Remember anything worth doing is worth doing right, and don't let those negative comments about your code ever deter you, just march up and tell them you don't subscribe to stinkin' thinkin'.

As a card carrying Republican I can't support this Affirmit! This is nothing but reverse discrimination!

You see, all of us have the ability to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps!!

    Let em explain:

I am a member of the Marietta Country club in Marietta Georgia. My great grandpappy worked REAL hard getting the US government to kill off the Cherokee Indians that were on HIS property. Now, my grandpappy, worked real hard, so he deserves everything he got and left to us. My daddy, seeing land prices increasing and through his hard work bringing Atlanta up, got into the real estate business. He then left me all of his money! Now, I worked real hard being a trust fund baby! It was had selling that stolen land to the highest bidder! Sometimes, I had to work past Noon!!

Y'all should take a lesson from me: if you work hard, there's rewards!!

Only the Republican Party can help you deal with stolen money!!

And kids remember, WOrk on Wall Street, vote Republican, and as the Bible says, Fuck thy Neighbor and you'll be all right!

    Priase Jesus!
