Scientists Breeding Super Bees
Elliot Chang writes "Over the last five years the world's honey bee population has been steadily dwindling, with many beekeepers citing 2010 as the worst year yet. In order to save these extremely important insects, scientists are working on breeding a new super honey bee that they hope will be resistant to cold, disease, mites and pesticides. If all goes well, the new and improved insect will continue to pollinate our crops for years to come."
How dare those fucking nigger bees rape our aryan bee goddesses. We need a final solution to kill off the nigger bees!

Have you learned absolutely nothing from all our meddling with nature?
Nature is very carefully balanced out. if you change something, it all falls apart. Unless you counter-balance it perfectly. Which is close to impossible.
So those new bees, with nothing to fear and nothing to counter them, will reproduce like crazy and use up all resources they can get. Meanwhile everything else that depended on those resources will get in massive trouble, going extinct, or becoming endangered.
And all life that depended on those other ones will die with them, while all else that got eaten by those will also reproduce like crazy.
In essence, the whole thing falls apart, unless another balance is reached.
And I can tell you now, that the likeliness, that that new balance is in any way better for us, is probably somewhere around zero. (Because every change in our environment requires adaptation. Which always comes at a price.)
