From the article: "Leaked online chats between the co-owners of the world's largest pharmacy spam operation reveal the extent to which illicit organizations in Russia purchase political protection, and bribe public officials into initiating or stalling law enforcement investigations."

    The difference is that without government help the corporations can not send the FBI to seize my shit. Or send the police to break into my home.
    The corporations (without government help) can not put me in prison.
