Why Do Companies Backup So Infrequently?

Although cloud backup solutions are becoming more common, still the majority of companies will do their backups in-house. ;) Sorry, no, it is not. Tape has lon term guarantees that hd has not. Drives are expensive, tapes themselvesa re cheap and resilient.
Why would you respond to some very specific questions asked for the GP, where you pull information out of thin air?
I don't care about how you imagine they do the stuff, especially since your scheme doesn't cover GPs claims of being able to pull any backup from years past. What I want to know is how he deals with it, since by my understanding of his claims, it's BS.
