The Many Names of Linux Kernels

dartttt writes "Not many people know that Kernel releases have their codenames. Most of the Linux 2.6 and 3.x kernels include a name in the Makefile of their source trees, which can be found in the git repository. They are not publicized as such but some of them are really hilarious."

    Glad I'm not a weasel...

    When I fart on an airplane, I make it as loud as possible, then look around, and say "yeah, baby! nothin' like pork 'n beans with some jalapeno before a flight! Keeps the warmth coming right out on these cold planes!"

    WTF is this crap? A random blog article containing a link to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Linux_kernel_names - yeah, I loughed. Btw the link to the git repo is wrong. Elsewhere such content is called SEO spam.
