Israel Says It Will Treat Online Credit Card Theft As It Would Terrorism
In the wake of the online theft of at least 6,000 credit card numbers belonging to Israelis, Israel's Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon said that "Israel has active capabilities for striking at those who are trying to harm it, and no agency or hacker will be immune from retaliatory action." Also at Reuters, with a few more details about the believed thief, known as OxOmar: "After Israeli media ran what they said were interviews conducted with OxOmar over email, the Haaretz newspaper said a blogger had tracked the hacker down and determined he was a 19-year-old citizen of the United Arab Emirates studying and working in Mexico."
I just feel sorry for whomever it is that's living next door to the thieves when Israel overreacts. Israel isn't exactly known for keeping any sort of perspective on things. Kill one of their citizens and they'll kill dozens of your citizens with little to no concern for innocent civilians.

Secondly, last I recall, citizens in other countries don't fear being blown up, shot, kidnapped, and tortured by Israelis.
Do citizens of Gaza and the West Bank count?
No, they do not. It's simple. First off they are not a country or even ethnic group, but an invented people. The majority are from places like Jordan, Iraq, Syria. There are indeed a few descended from people who lived in Israel once upon a time. But Jews can make that claim going back 4k years at least with historical documentation. There has never been a Palestinian history, currency, or anything else. Up until 1964, Palestinian meant Israeli Jew. It is a Roman term meant to punish Jews. Yassir Arafat's people even admitted they made up the Palestinian people for political purposes. That purpose is to destroy Israel because Jews are the enemies of Islam. It's that simple. No amount of land or concession is going to solve this, and anyway these people in their charters do not recognize Israel except to call for its destruction. Name one other country in the world that would not only negotiate with these people, but give them land and not just wipe them off the face of the Earth or at least imprison every last one of them.
Please show me evidence that this is happening. There is none. As I said, there is collateral damage sometimes, but know this. If Israel wanted to kill Palestinians, the conflict would be over in 12 hours. We have jets, drones, nuclear weapons, and some of the most advanced weaponry you can find, even more than America in some cases. Sorry but Israel bends over backwards not killing civilians to the point where people are fed up with our sons and daughters dying for nothing. And when they don't die, they are often punished for defending themselves against people who are armed and want to kill us.
1. If you harbor known terrorists, you are committing a crime. This is the law of any nation.
2. Is Israel at fault for protecting its citizens against terrorists by killing them? As far as I am aware, this is the policy of most if not all nations. For comparison sake, see what happens to Israelis or Jews in general in arab countries.
3. Palestinian prisoners receive Israeli funded education. No, take off your tin foil hat, this is not "education" in the 1984 sense. Rather, they are allowed to study academics.
4. Do you need any proof which side values life more when over 1k terrorists = 1 kidnapped Jew. Read up on Gilad Shalit. He was kept in a hole with no red cross visits or international inspectors for 5 years. Only a few times were there ever even any signs that he was actually alive. There were also photographs of his cell at one point with things written such as "nobody loves you, your people have abandoned you." His detention violated every international treaty. Meanwhile, many terrorists are allowed visits including conjugal.
5. Are you aware that the left wing in Israel is incredibly strong. They protest anything and everything related to any sort of mistreatment. In the army, my friend shot a guy with a grenade he was trying to throw at us in the leg with a rubber bullet. Because rubber bullets arc up often when shot, he was hit in the nuts. Long story short, my friend was dismissed from the army for protecting Israeli citizens! Conversely, in so called Gaza and West Bank, streets are named after terrorists and candy is passed out when our people are killed. We give back dead, they do not. We treat people with as much dignity as possible. Please go on the ground and see the reality for yourselves, not what CNN is trying to print to sell news entertainment.
6. As far as "being blown up," I won't deny it doesn't happen. I didn't, see collateral damage. But as a group of people, it is your responsibility to call out your leaders. Note that this happens in Israel all the time at a whim practically because it is democractic and civilized, much more than the US in certain ways.
