Taking Issue With Claims That American Science Education is 'Dismal'

TaeKwonDood writes "We've all seen the stories about how 'dismal' science education in America is. It turns out that it's kind of a straw man. America has long led the world in science but the 'average' score for Americans on standardized tests has never been good. Instead, every 2 years American kids get better but we keep being told things are terrible. Here is why."

An absurd amount - often $100,000 per student per year - goes to "special ed" teachers attempting to educate the truly stupid, because a parent has sued the school district demanding that their moron get results as good as everyone else.

While you are off being cute, the religion of Anthropogenic Global Warming is causing real harm in the world. We used to care about real pollution like particulate matter and ozone. Now this false religion is attacking Carbon Dioxide as the problem when it is hardly a problem at all. Global Warming may be happening but two things are still out in debate:
    1) What is causing that
    2) Is that a bad thing?
