Apple To Unveil iOS 6 At WWDC 2012

redletterdave writes "At next week's WWDC 2012 in San Francisco, Apple is expected to unveil new laptops, desktops, accessories, and software features for its Mac OS X platform. But on Friday afternoon, several pictures surfaced on Twitter showing banners released around Moscone West in San Francisco, saying 'iOS 6: The world's most advanced mobile operating system.'"

But how the hell can they claim they have the most advanced anything... iOS is so crippled I'm not sure it can be called a OS. I think Fifa 2012 has more functionality than iOS. I don't even have a smartphone, but I've used both and Android really feels like an actual device you could get stuff done in, while iOS stuff are just... well... toys.

I don't remember how they introduced the lie about OSX being the world's best OS, but I guess they just made that one up too.

Pure Apple-fan drivel. There's nothing keeping Apple from recognizing revenue over the expected lifetime of its products. The only thing driving this anti-customer behavior is that they know that they can get away with it and their fanbase is willing to put up with this abuse. SOX just gave Jobs the excuse he needed to fleece his loathesome flock the way he wanted to all along.
