MSFT Reaches Out To Hackers: 'Do Epic $#!+'

hessian writes "Microsoft isn't exactly known for its underground hacker culture, but a recent effort to give its employees more slack is generating some wild experiments. Last summer, Microsoft completed a redesign of one of its original buildings on campus — Building 4, where Bill Gates' office used to be — into a laid-back workshop where staff can tinker with things. It's open to anyone, anytime, and it's got everything from a hardware workshop to an actual working garage door. If it doesn't sound to you like something Microsoft would normally do , the Garage's motto will really shock you: 'Do epic s--t.'"

Hey Microsoft, this watering down is why you're sucking as a tech company.

I know, what can turn Microsoft into a decent company, but it involves mass murder.

A few years ago, Microsoft was interested in buying up my startup company, sort of an acqui-hire type thing since the company was basically me, some patents, and some tech demos. I visited their campus during the talks to see how if I could get along with their culture. Anyhow, they took me to an "authentic" (if tex-mex is authentic) mexican restaurant. Wouldn't you know, I ended up with a massive case of the shits an hour later. I must have been on their toilet for hour, pissing shit out my asshole and releasing a vast quantity of ass-gas. At one point they, sent someone in to check on me.

By the time I was done, the entire bathroom reeked of death and there were numerous shit streaks all along the wall and floor of my stall.

    See subject-line above... you're mistaken.

I like how Start64.com does their website:

    http://start64.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=5851:apk-hosts-file-engine-64bit-version&catid=26:64bit-security-software&Itemid=74

Both In layout/aesthetics, and in principals:

They do ONLY 64-bit wares, not just 64-bit compatible with it - others post anything that runs on 64-bit OS, 32-bit or not (which has its place too)!

(Exceptions? Some - Hybrid Apps (mix of 32/64 bit in portions) - Exceptions are those of the class marshalled as an OLE server or instanced as a classic DLL segment, & driver or service (some might have 32-bit front ends as far as "hybrid" design. Some sites do more apps, 32-bit ware that runs ok on 64 bit OS' get included & displayed... which once more - has it's place too...)).

The program's a good one because of what the data it puts out can do for you in speed, security, reliability, & anonymity, to an extent (vs. DNSBL's & DNS Request Logs...)

    * Above all else - Enjoy the program: Plus, faster, safer, & more reliable internet surfing from it... it really works because the IP stack itself works, as efficiently as possible.

P.S.=> Besides - Who else posts in the style/format I do? Not many others... & not exactly like mine are, so, there you are...
